Q: Will you listen to my band?
Yes. We try to listen to everything that gets sent our way. That doesn’t necessarily mean we’ll respond to all queries, though.
Q: Do you accept demos?
A: Do you mean like, mail and shit? No, not really. You should just send us an email with links to your songs. Keep in mind we’re a shoestring operation. The chances of us working with complete strangers is zero-to-nil–even if we actually like your music.
Q: Will you help me book a show in Richmond?
A: Sure, we love booking shows! Holler if you’re running through town and you need a hand. We’ll let you know if we can help you out or not.
Q: What’s up with your fucked-up numbering system?
If you have to ask, and you’re not catching the very obvious references, then we probably won’t get along. Just so you know.
Q: So if I want to share your music or use it for a non-commercial venture, how should I attribute it?
First, let us know. We’re not going to stop you; we’re just curious about it. Second, make sure that you note the song title, band name, and the label name in your work. That’s it.
Q: I want to do something totally awesome with your music that’s not cleared by your Creative Commons license. It might even be for (GASP!) commercial purposes.
Great. Shoot over an email outlining your project, and we’ll let you know whether we think it’s kosher on our end. We’re pretty reasonable people.
